About

Alysia Córdova’s practice focuses primarily in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, civil litigation, and banking and finance. Her representation of financial institutions includes advising and trying matters involving judicial and non-judicial remedies in commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and pursuing professional liability claims on behalf of failed institutions.  She has experience with the foreclosure of liens and interests against real and personal property; Uniform Commercial Code, Article 9 secured transactions; lender liability defense; and bankruptcy litigation involving preference, discharge, and fraudulent conveyance claims.  Alysia’s civil litigation practice includes general business litigation, medical professional liability defense, and insurance defense.

Alysia earned a B.A. magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University in 2007 and went on to earn her J.D. cum laude from Texas Tech School of Law in 2010.
