With several decades of experience in developing businesses, working in education, and building client relations, Melissa Hightower focuses her legal practice on business formation and organization, education matters, contract review and disputes, and civil litigation.
Melissa holds an undergraduate degree from West Texas A&M University and an MBA. She graduated from Texas Tech School of Law, where she served as the Business Law Association President and Managing Editor for the Texas Bank Lawyer, where she contributed each month to a newsletter on recent cases and regulatory articles concerning banking and commercial matters. She also served as a trained mediator with the Office of Dispute Resolution for Lubbock County.
Melissa clerked with the Office of General Counsel for Texas Tech University and for the Honorable Judge Dee Johnson in the 47th District Court for Randall, Potter, and Armstrong counties.
